Yes. Of course.

The sole reason people would doubt it is because they’re ignorant. I would bet that the only idea they have of either is what others told them. I don’t know why there’s a rivalry, or why it matters what someone likes.

Both titles begin with Star and end with a four letter word. Besides taking place off Earth, that’s about all they have in common. Jesus. So why couldn’t someone like both? Or one? Or neither? Who really cares?

I don’t get it either. They are even taking places in very distant locations and time periods from each other. What, “space isn’t big enough for both of them”? Is there a limit - one person is allowed to like only one thing set in space? X_x

 I T ’  S S P OR TA CUS

There was a scene where he wore a jacket that reminded me of that uniform…

… and in that scene Jackie Chan hit him with a bicycle and with a child.
It’s kinda ironic. If he also was hit with a watermelon that would be a combo - sports, kids, healthy food X_x

Also - Magnus being called “Antosha” XD (although, being Russian, I found all that Russian-mafia-thing hysterical. What kind of “Russian” last name is “Poldark”? O_o).

I asked Stas Davydov (he is a Latvian Russian-speaking version of RWJ) to demonstrate his ability of showing a Vulcan salute.

BWAHAHAHA

Oh, yeah, English speakers—

the joke is that Sebstan’s Russian is so bad that it sounds like he’s saying “she’s a maniac, hit her in the head.”*

(*forehead, literally)

IT REALLY DOES THOUGH

Yep, “she’s a maniac, give her [a punch] in the forehead” =)

The thing that terrifies the most about talking to people about Star Trek is that if they ask me what my favourite creature from ST is, I will have to unironically answer that it’s the unicorn dog from The Enemy Within

image

I like this dog!
And also feel kinda bad for it, not only because of it’s fate in the episode, but also because of all “ha-ha, look, they gave it horns and we are supposed to believe it’s an alien lifeform!” posts.
I mean come on, this dog got more modifications than most human actors who played aliens in TOS did X)
